Taking a last look at Phoenix's Metrocenter

Metrocenter, which opened in 1973, had over 100 retailers during its heyday. The mall has been closed since 2020, and on May 5, demolition work will begin, and the area will be redeveloped into a multi-use space including housing, retail stores, and restaurants. FOX 10's Nicole Garcia takes a final look at the now-shuttered mall, which was among the biggest malls of its kind in the U.S. when it opened.
