Hurricane Idalia has made landfall over Florida?s Gulf Coast as a "catastrophic" Category 3 storm that has already left tens of thousands of residents without power, officials said Wednesday morning. The Category 3 storm hit along the coast of the Florida Big Bend near Keaton Beach at about 7:45 a.m. local time, posing an immediate threat to lives and properties with its 125 mph winds and significant flooding.
