Eastbound I-10 closed after big rig hits pedestrian

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer rig on Interstate 10 west of the Phoenix area early Monday morning, closing the eastbound lanes of I-10.
