Dogs banned from city of Phoenix trails when temperatures are over 100°F

As it starts to heat up here in the Valley, a reminder -- the heat doesn't just affect you. Dogs are banned from all 41 trailheads in the city of Phoenix when temperatures reach 100 or higher. If you're caught, it's a class 1 misdemeanor, a $2500 fine, and possible jail time.
