Morning Weather Forecast - 4/2/26

Thursday in the Valley will be mostly sunny with a high in the mid-to-upper 80s.

A changing pattern has brought us much more comfortable conditions around the state.

Thursday:

Morning lows began around freezing in Flagstaff Thursday morning and lows in the 60s returned to the Phoenix metro. This afternoon, the forecast high will warm to 87 in Phoenix. The average this time of year is 83 degrees, so we'll continue above average. However, we'll remain out of 90 degree territory for a couple more days. It will be breezy in the Valley and windy yet again in the High Country. Gusts will reach 15-20 mph in Phoenix and 35-45 mph in Flagstaff.

Friday and the Weekend:

The forecast high reaches 88 on Friday with a sunny to mostly sunny sky. It will again be windy in northern Arizona, and just a touch breezy in the Valley. Winds will gradually weaken Friday into the weekend.

By Saturday, the high reaches 92 degrees in Phoenix. Mornings will still be nice, in the 60s for the next four days straight. This means Easter Sunday will begin with a comfortable 67 degree low temperature. Afternoon highs, however, reach the mid 90s in the Valley on Easter Sunday.

Looking Further Ahead:

The low to middle 90s will continue through next week, during generally dry and partly sunny conditions.
