2 killed when car fleeing Border Patrol crashed identified as Mexicans

Authorities have identified the two people killed when their driver crashed while being pursued by Border Patrol agents.

The dead are 37-year-old Constantino Bautista Cruz and 28-year-old Efrain Medrano-Morales, both Mexican citizens.

The driver, a 17-year-old who has not been identified, faces two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault, criminal damage, unlawful flight from law enforcement and driving under the influence.

Police say he was fleeing from Border Patrol agents when he crashed the car in southern Arizona. Three others who were in the car were injured.
