3 rescued after van gets stuck in running wash in Cave Creek

CAVE CREEK, Ariz. (FOX 10/AP) - Authorities say three people were rescued after being trapped inside a minivan that was stuck in a running wash in Cave Creek.

The Rural Metro Fire Department says the van was stuck in a running wash with high water near the intersection of Cahava Ranch and North Old Stage Roads.

Police, firefighters and a helicopter responded to the scene to assist in the rescue.

No one was injured.
