Car hits tree, crashes into house before starting fire
PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Police say a vehicle hit a tree, rolled and caught fire before the flames spread to a nearby home in Phoenix overnight.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, firefighters responded to reports of a car crashed into a house with a fire near Interstate 17 and the Loop 101 early Tuesday morning.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a car on fire that was crashed into a home. The fire was quickly extinguished and the family of two inside the home was not injured.
The driver of the car was found nearby and she has been taken into custody by Phoenix police.
