Classes to resume for Navajo Elementary School students at another location

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - School officials say classes for students at Navajo Elementary School will resume Thursday, at a different location.

Classes were cancelled for school students Wednesday, after a fire. According to the Scottsdale Fire Department, the fire broke out in a storage room at the school. Crews from multiple Valley fire agencies responded to the school and quickly controlled the fire.

On Wednesday night, school officials said classes will resume at Oak Learning Academy, located at 7501 W. Oak Street, about three miles away. School will start at 9:00 a.m., and end at 3:30 p.m.
