Glendale Police identifies victim of fatal shooting

GLENDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) -- Glendale Police officials have identified a man who was shot and killed late Wednesday night.

According to a statement released Friday, police were called out at around 11:37 p.m. to a "shots fired" call near the 7300 block of W. Solano Drive North. When officers arrived, they found the victim, 25-year-old Tyler Andrew Mead, who died at the scene. Mead was standing in the front yard of a home when he was approached by two suspects, one of whom shot Mead. Both then fled on foot to the end of the street, when a car was waiting for them.
