Tens of thousands of people reported issues with both YouTube and YouTubeTV on Tuesday evening, according to Downdetector.com.

What we know:

As users logged on to watch videos on the popular streaming platform, they were met with a "Something went wrong" error message, according to posts on X.

Some users were able to find a workaround, by watching videos via their subscriptions.

What they're saying:

"An issue with our recommendations system prevented videos from appearing across surfaces on YouTube (including the homepage, the YouTube app, YouTube Music and YouTube Kids). The homepage is back, but we're still working on a full fix – more coming soon!" YouTube said on X.

The glitch was fully resolved across all platforms later Tuesday, YouTube said.

By the numbers:

Reports of YouTube TV outages reached over 7,000 and over 283,000 on YouTube Tuesday evening.
