I-10 reopens at Baseline Road after deadly motorcycle crash
TEMPE, Ariz. - A deadly crash involving a motorcyclist closed Interstate 10 in Tempe on Monday morning.
The eastbound lanes of I-10 were shut down at Baseline Road. The westbound lanes were not affected.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the crash happened just before 3 a.m. on June 19 when the motorcyclist sideswiped a truck. The motorcyclist lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle.
The unidentified motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not hurt.
