City council to vote on $3M settlement in wrongful death lawsuit from deadly Phoenix fire truck crash
In April of 2019, 20-year-old Kenneth Collins, 19-year-old Dariana Serrano, and a 3-month-old boy were killed when their pickup truck collided with a Phoenix Fire engine. Three firefighters were also hurt and Serrano's mother filed a wrongful death lawsuit. If the lawsuit is approved, the city of Phoenix could pay up to $3 million.
