Woman hit, killed while crossing street in Phoenix

A woman is dead after she was hit by a car while in the crosswalk near 16th Street and Thomas Road. Police say two cars collided, and one of them hit the woman as she was crossing the street. One of the drivers was hospitalized. The woman was not identified.
