U.S. citizens urged against traveling to Rocky Point

A new travel advisory is encouraging people to rethink their plans. The U.S. Consulate is advising travelers against trying to get to Rocky Point using other routes while the Lukeville Port of Entry is shut down. The warning comes as Sonora is under a travel advisory because of the risks of crimes and kidnappings. The warning also applies to U.S. government employees.
