Woman killed in fire near Lake Mead

The fire happened at a home in Meadview. Outside the home, a man told Mohave County Sheriff's deputies he had been cooking and left to go get water. He says he heard an explosion while he was gone and tried to put out the fire. He could not find the woman inside the burning home. She was later found dead once deputies got inside the burned home. The woman's identity was not released.
