Phoenix Fire receives big heat relief donation

Blue Cross Blue Shield has donated $75,000 to the Phoenix Fire Department as a way to help the agency purchase new equipment for heat emergencies, including cardiac monitors with temperature monitoring technology, and heavy duty coolers for on-scene cooling and ice storage.
