DPS: Mother, 5-year-old son killed in crash along Phoenix freeway

PHOENIX (FOX 10) -�Authorities say a mother and her 5-year-old son where killed in a chain-reaction crash along a Phoenix freeway on Monday night. According to Trooper Kameron Lee with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened on southbound State Route 51 near Highland at 5:52 p.m., when a gray 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by 34-year-old Edgar Ramos-Esteban rear-ended a blue 2005 Kia sedan.
