Yee defeats incumbent Horne in GOP primary for State Superintendent

State Treasurer Kimberly Yee has won the Republican primary for Superintendent of Public Instruction, defeating incumbent Tom Horne. With nearly 90% of the vote counted, Yee holds approximately 53% of the vote.
