2 attacked with glass bottle in Brooklyn

A 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were assaulted with a bottle by a group of thugs who first asked the victims if they belonged to a gang, according to police.

The vicious assault occurred at about 11:15 p.m. on July 31 in front of 301 Keap Street in Brooklyn. The pair were standing in front of the building when the strangers walked up to them.

In surveillance video, one of the assailants strikes both of the victims in their heads while the others punch and kick them.

The individual who struck the victims with the bottle is described as Hispanic, approximately in his late teens to early 20s, 5'7" to 5'10" tall, with a light complexion and a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and red shorts.

The other individuals in the group are described as males in their late teens to early 20s.
