2-year-old girl dies after being pulled from Goodyear pool

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say a 2-year-old girl has died after she was pulled from a backyard swimming pool in Goodyear.

Goodyear police say the toddler was pulled from a backyard pool near Bullard and Indian School Road on Thursday.

The toddler was rushed to a nearby hospital where she later died.

Police say it's unclear how she got into the pool and how long she was under water.
