Avondale police release sketch of sex assault suspect

Police released a sketch of a sex assault suspect in hopes of identifying him.

Avondale police say the attack happened on July 15 near 124th Avenue and Flanagan Street.

A 17-year-old woman met up with the suspect, who called himself "Omar."

She tells police that he was a light skinned Hispanic man with a large scar on the side of his right leg. He is reportedly driving a green 2-door ford pickup truck.
