Brothers arrested after possibly stolen AR-15, body armor found inside home

BUCKEYE, Ariz. (FOX 10) - Police say two brothers were arrested after an AR-15, ammunition and body armor were found inside their Buckeye home.

According to the Buckeye Police Department, a SWAT team and detectives served a search warrant at a home in the Sundance Community of Buckeye near Interstate 10 and Watson Road on January 23, after receiving reports that several stolen weapons may be inside.

Detectives seized an AR-15, that possibly was stolen from a burglary last year, body armor containing steel ballistic plates, ammunition for several weapons and other accessories.

Police arrested 29-year-old Victor Larios and his younger brother, 20-year-old Daniel Figueroa.

Both men are prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior felon conviction.

They were booked into jail on felony charges.

Police say Figueroa also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
