Deadly crash closes portions of US 93 near Wickenburg

Officials said a crash has closed US 93, in both directions, north of Wickenburg.

According to DPS, a multi-car crash involving a fatality took place on the highway, at milepost 173.

According to ADOT officials, northbound commercial traffic can detour by taking US 60 in Wickenburg, to State Route 75 in Hope. Trucks can take State Route 95 =near Bouse, to I-40, and regular northbound traffic can detour, using State Route 89 through Prescott, and connect to I-40 in Ash Fork.

There is no estimated reopening time for the roadway.
