Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream is recalling several varieties of its fruit bars over concerns that they may be contaminated with glass.

The popular ice cream maker explained that the recall extends to five flavors of its Outshine Fruit Bars: Black Cherry, Grape, Strawberry, Tangerine, and Watermelon. All affected products came in six-count packages of 2.5-ounce bars, and they were distributed to stores across the country.

"The safety, quality, and integrity of our products remain our highest priority," Dreyer’s wrote in a statement announcing the recall. "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action may cause our consumers and retail customers."

Anyone who bought one of the products on the list can return it to where the package was purchased for a full refund, Dreyer’s noted.

The ice cream maker emphasized that no other Outshine products or varieties, outside of those five flavors, are affected.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with the issue, Dreyer’s noted. It advised anyone worried about an injury to contact a health care provider.
