Family of I-10 shooting suspect speaks out

Arizona Department of Public Safety announces that 21-year-old Leslie Allen Merritt, Jr., was arrested for the freeway shootings, and now his family members are talking about the arrest.

Fox 10 caught up with the mother of his girlfriend -- the grandmother of his child. She was shocked and was defending Merritt, Jr., on Friday evening. Fox 10 also spoke with the suspect's father Leslie Allen Merritt, Sr. He claims there is no way his son is behind these shootings.
