Gainesville woman to celebrate 103rd birthday

GAINESVILLE, Ga. - A Gainesville woman is preparing to celebrate a very special milestone birthday.

On August 16, Susie Odell will turn 103-years-old.

Odell is a graduate of the University of Georgia and taught school for 21 years. She then worked in the daycare industry until she retired at the age of 70.

Odell lives in the Chicopee section of Gainesville.
