GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say a young girl was shot during a drive-by shooting in Glendale.
Glendale police say the shooting happened near 59th and Missouri Avenues when shots were fired from a passing vehicle and the girl was struck by a bullet.
The girl suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Investigators believe the shots fired from the vehicle may have been aimed at another vehicle that was traveling in the roadway.
Due to the investigation, the southbound lanes of 59th Avenue are closed from San Juan to Missouri.
