PD: One dead following shooting near 35th Ave and Broadway

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Phoenix Police are investigating a fatal shooting in the area of 35th Avenue and Broadway Road.

Officers responded a call of shots fired came in around 11:35 p.m. Monday night.

Investigators say an unknown suspect walked up to the 47-year-old victim outside of his home, and after a short argument, shot him and left the scene.

The victim later died at the hospital.

No suspect description is available at this time. Police are investigating possible drug activity.
