Phoenix Suns host Tucson boy after no one showed up to his birthday party

PHOENIX (KSAZ) -- A six-year-old Tucson boy gained national attention overnight, but for all the wrong reasons.

The boy was left sitting at an empty table, after his mother said none of his classmates showed up to his birthday party, but teams like the Phoenix Rising and the Phoenix Suns wanted to make sure that young Teddy had a birthday he would never forget.

On Wednesday night, he was the special guest at the Phoenix Suns/Los Angeles Lakers game in Downtown Phoenix. FOX 10's Stephanie Olmo reports.
