Police: Car hits 3 other vehicles before crashing into church in downtown Phoenix

PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Police say a car hit three other vehicle before crashing into a church in downtown Phoenix.

According to Sgt. Tommy Thompson with the Phoenix Police Department, a 2003 Acura sedan that was heading southbound on Seventh Avenue sideswiped another vehicle at Adams and continued on towards Washington, where it rear-ended another vehicle.

The Acura continued over the bridge, where it clipped another vehicle at Grant before it spun out and crashed into a church near Seventh Avenue and Sherman.

Police say injuries suffered in the three crashes are minor and impairment is believed to be a factor.
