Police investigate after teen is assaulted at north Phoenix Circle K

Police are searching for a suspect and a person of interest after a teen was assaulted at a north Phoenix Circle K.

The incident happened at the Circle K convenience store at 18th Avenue and Union Hills on Tuesday, August 22nd at about 3:10pm. Police say the juvenile victim, about 16 years old, accidentally bumped into the person of interest outside the store.

The two got into an argument and that's when the suspect got involved and assaulted the juvenile, according to police. The victim suffered serious injury from the assault.

The suspect is described as a white man, 25 years old, five feet eleven inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. His name is possibly Rob or Scott.

The person of interest is described as a white man, about 28 years old, five feet nine inches tall and about 145 pounds. He was wearing a shirt that read "Cali Life."

The suspect and person of interest left the scene in a 2000 to 2004 gold Buick Le Sabre with peeling or oxidized paint, with a missing front passenger side and missing hubcaps.
