Prescott Valley man accused of running over estranged wife

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a Prescott Valley man is accused of running over and injuring his estranged wife with his pickup truck.

Prescott Valley police say 53-year-old Steven Craig Henry is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault with a dangerous instrument per domestic violence, endangerment, disorderly conduct and possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Police responded to multiple calls from citizens of a woman being run over by a truck in the Department of Economic Security parking lot about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Witnesses say the couple argued and the man got into his half-ton truck and reportedly drove over the woman several times.

The 51-year-old woman was flown to a Phoenix hospital, where she's in stable condition. Her name hasn't been released.

It's unclear if Henry has a lawyer yet.
