Shooting leads to 1 dead, 1 in serious condition in north Phoenix

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A shooting in north Phoenix leaves one man dead and another in serious condition.

Police arrived at a QuikTrip near 28th Avenue and Thunderbird Road to find two gunshot victims in a vehicle. One man was announced dead on scene, and the driver was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Witnesses say the two men had been arguing with another group of men at a different location. During the argument, shots were exchanged between the men.

The two men who were shot then drove to the gas station.

The investigation is ongoing and at this time, no other gun shot victims have been located.
