SILENT WITNESS: Two suspects rob Phoenix Chevron, threaten to shoot employee

A reward is offered to help police find two suspects accused of an armed robbery in west Phoenix.

According to Silent Witness spokesperson Sgt. James Rothschild, the crime happened on July 18th at about 12:15am. The suspects entered the Chevron store at 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road. One suspect threatened the clerk while the other pointed a weapon at the worker. The armed suspect threatened to shoot the clerk and demanded money from the register.

Both suspects took off on foot. The first suspect is described as a black man, 25 to 30 years old, five feet nine inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. The second suspect is described as a black man, 20 to 25 years old, five feet nine inches tall, weighing 150 pounds and with braided hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. There is a reward involved and you can remain anonymous.
