Traffic returns to normal following multi-car crash on State Route 51

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A crash involving multiple cars caused major traffic disruptions on State Route 51 Thursday afternoon.

According to ADOT's verified Twitter account, the crash, at one point, blocked all but the right lanes of Northbound State Route 51, past Union Hills.

At approximately 5:36 p.m., ADOT officials announced that all lanes are back open.
