WATCH: DPS trooper takes alleged unruly suspect into custody

An Arizona Department of Public Safety trooper was caught on camera taking what they say is an unruly suspect into custody in Mesa.

DPS says the incident happened when the trooper pulled over 34-year-old Marc LeBeau for speeding along State Route 202 near Brown Road on Monday.

After the trooper told LeBeau he was under arrested for driving 95 mph in a 65 mph zone, LeBeau allegedly pushed the trooper and resisted arrest.

A barefoot LeBeau refused to be handcuffed and continually pushed the trooper while complaining that the pavement was hot. The trooper handcuffed one arm but was unable to fully gain control of LeBeau, who turned and pulled away from the trooper and refused to give up his other arm.

Two passing motorists stopped at the scene and assisted the trooper in taking LeBeau into custody.

LeBeau was treated at the scene for minor injuries and was booked into Fourth Avenue jail for criminal speed, resisting arrest and DUI.
