Woman shot while driving in neighborhood, arrested on outstanding warrant
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - One woman was shot and then arrested on an outstanding warrant early Wednesday morning.
Phoenix police say at about 4 a.m., two women were driving around the neighborhood near 22nd Avenue and Glenrosa, when they were shot at by a group of people standing in the street nearby.
The driver of the car was hit in the leg by a bullet and either her passenger, or herself, drove to a nearby hospital.
Police also say the woman that was shot was later arrested for an outstanding burglary warrant.
The suspects left the scene in a tan or gold four-door vehicle.
