Maricopa County Animal Care and Control is facing a housing issue from incoming rescue dogs. It picked up a number of strays over the holiday weekend but has already been stretched thin as pandemic puppies get surrendered. The rescue is so packed, that it's working to set up emergency housing inside its conference room. HALO Animal Rescue is stepping up to assist animal control and is offering make-shift cages for when the county becomes overcrowded.
