First glimpse of Israeli hostage in Gaza seen in Hamas video
Hamas unveiled a video depicting an Israeli hostage held by militants in Gaza Strip on Oct. 16. The footage, initially shared on the Al-Qassam Brigades Telegram channel, reveals the woman receiving medical attention for her injured arm and subsequently speaking directly to the camera. According to a translation by the Jerusalem Post, she introduces herself as Mia Shem, a 21-year-old individual with dual citizenship of Israel and France.
