Fentanyl seizures reach record numbers in U.S.
The DEA says it seized more fentanyl across the U.S. last year than ever before, and in Arizona, over 380 pounds of fentanyl powder was recovered, and more than 40 million fentanyl pills. That accounts for over half of all fentanyl pill seizures nationwide. The DEA says the drugs are finding their way into Arizona primarily through the Sinaloa Cartel.
