Hiker rescued from Glendale mountain

A man in his 20s was rescued early Thursday morning after telling his parents he was going for an evening hike on Wednesday at Thunderbird Conservation Park near 59th Avenue and Deer Valley Road. Firefighters say the man's parents went to the area and found him feeling ill. The man was taken to a hospital. His condition is unknown.
