Several cars get stuck in flooded washes during monsoon storm

Flash floods were reported in several areas in the northwest Valley and as a result, many drivers tried to cross the water, resulting in at least a half-dozen rescues. Most drivers say they didn't think it was that deep. Arizona has a "Stupid Motorist Law," so if you decide to drive through floodwaters and get stuck, you could end up having to foot the bill for your rescue.
