American Airlines flight from Phoenix hit by green laser

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - An American Airlines flight that took off from Sky Harbor was hit by a green laser before it landed in San Diego on Tuesday.

A spokesman with American Airlines tells Fox 10 that the captain aboard flight 563 from Phoenix to San Diego encountered a green laser light in the cockpit at 9:05 p.m. The flight landed safely in San Diego without any further incident.

There were a total of 168 passengers and a six-member crew on board. The crew declined any medical attention and there were no reports of any other injuries.
