Arizona athlete heads to Rio to compete in the Olympics
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The Olympic games are underway in a few days, and a University of Arizona graduate is going for the gold.
He is one of three U.S. men going to Rio to compete in the Olympic triathlon.
FOX 10's Courtney Griffin spoke with Ben Anute as he prepared for the big event.
A few weeks ago Ben and his co-ed relay team won a Gold medal for the United States in Germany during a triathlon race. It was the first time the United States ever placed first in that race.
