Arizona man charged with involving 5-year-old girl in drug offense
HOLBROOK, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities say an eastern Arizona man enlisted a 5-year-old girl's to help process marijuana in a growing operation.
A grand jury indicted 29-year-old Randy Allen on several charges, including involving a minor in a drug offense, and possession and production of marijuana.
Allen's attorney, Ron Wood, said Tuesday that he hadn't seen any reports and declined to comment.
Authorities searched Allen's home near Show Low in mid-December and found drug paraphernalia and marijuana stored inside glass jars. They also found photographs on Allen's computer showing the child handling dried marijuana.
Allen wasn't home at the time but was arrested later by Gila County sheriff's deputies during a traffic stop.
The Navajo County Sheriff's Office says Allen could face additional charges.
