Arizona weather forecast: Clear skies, warmer temps for the weekend
PHOENIX - This week brought some rain to various parts of the Phoenix area, but things are starting to change.
We are expecting quiet weather to continue through the end of the weekend. Temperatures will also keep warming up.
A weekend of clear weather
What We Can Expect:
Skies will be mostly clear across Arizona Saturday night, with cool overnight lows.
Sunday will be a warmer day, with highs in the upper 70s across the Metro, and 60s across most of the high country. The warm temperatures will be accompanied by mostly sunny skies. Northern Arizona will see breezy conditions through the afternoon hours.
Looking Ahead:
Temperatures will keep warming up on Monday and Tuesday, thanks to nearby high pressure over northern Mexico. Many spots will see near-record and record high temperatures on Monday. The Phoenix area will even hit the low to mid 80s during the afternoons.
Slightly cooler temperatures will arrive for the second half of the work week.
