California man accused of killing father at Arizona campsite
PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) -- A California man accused of fatally shooting his father at a Yavapai County campsite has been arrested in his hometown.
Yavapai County sheriff's deputies say 21-year-old Francis Claude Klettke was apprehended Saturday during a traffic stop in Union City.
He is awaiting extradition in an Alameda County jail to face a murder charge.
Sheriff's spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn says the body of 60-year-old Dale Klettke, also of Union City, was found Thursday in some brush near where a witness saw him camping the night before.
Investigators say the victim had been shot multiple times.
His vehicle was also missing.
D'Evelyn says a witness' description of a suspect seen in the car closely matched Francis Klettke.
This led to Union City police assisting in the search for him.
