Federal Judge Amy Totenburg has blocked the Secretary of State's Office from certifying the election until Friday and ordered both state and local officials to review many of the provisional ballots.

Judge Totenburg also says election officials must explain why any ballots are rejected.

A hotline must also be set up so voters can learn whether their provisional ballot was counted.

In a release, the Stacey Abrams campaign said the ruling was a win "for Georgian's fundamental right - the right to cast a ballot."

"These victories were necessary steps in the fight to count every eligible vote in Georgia," Abrams' campaign said.

Republican Brian Kemp's campaign says it has more than enough votes to win outright.

"It's incredibly shameful that liberal lawyers are doubling down on lawsuits desperately trying to create more votes for Stacey Abrams," the Kemp campaign said in a statement Monday morning. "They don't want to win this election. They are trying to steal it."
