Glendale police: Home invasion victim shot, search for suspects continues

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Police say three suspects are loose in Glendale after a home invasion near 59th Avenue and Cactus.

Authorities say officers responded to a home in the area to a person who was shot.

"Upon arrival the victim advised that he was just robbed during a home invasion during which he received a single non-life threatening gunshot wound," stated Glendale Police Sgt. John Roth.

The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Roth added, "The suspects were described as three black males that fled the scene on foot. Officers are canvassing the area however there was a 20 minute time delay prior to the 911 call being made."
